There is a layer of silt -- small woody fragments -- that sits at the bottom in a suspended layer all along the actual bottom. Various birds present.
Ice off April 25. Not too much wildlife observed. No boat yet, so just observed at shore.
Today it was snowing, and had rained the day before.
