Popular riverside rest stop along the Madawasaka River. This area is quite shallow and has fast running water year round. This area is quite clean, with little garbage seen littering the riverside. Children often seen fishing upstream from parking area.

Water flowing quite quickly today; the current in this area usually quite strong. Snow still lingering in some areas around sample spot. This location does not freeze over during the winter months, as the constant motion of the water will keep the water surface from forming a layer of ice. Large stones litter the river bed and patches of dense vegetation observed upstream from sample location.
