Ottawa River - Chaudière Falls

Gatineau, Quebec, Canada

The river moves pretty quickly toward the Chaudière Falls. There are big rocks that have been placed along the edge of the river since there is a park at the location.

A chilly April morning! We noticed the geese had returned to the river and lots of ice chunks floating downstream.

A beautiful snowy day. We observed that the water was frozen around the edges of the shore. We also noticed that the middle of the river was not frozen and was flowing rapidly.

Overcast and a bit dreary. The water was dark looking but still clear. It was a bit foggy (low clouds). I felt cold.

We noticed that there was a lot of evidence of Canadian Geese around. We wondered if this has an impact on our water testing.
It was a bright and cool day with lots of moving clouds.

Water is very muddy. It has been raining quite a bit the last week.

PETES first testing trip as Beach Keepers. Thank you Larissa and Kat for all your help, instruction and patience.
