There is an abundance of hungry mosquitoes in the park and near the pond this month, more then I have ever seen before in this area.

1. There was a small baby squirrel alone near the pond, it was shaking (most likely out of fear), and seemed to be uninjured. We left him alone as there are many trees and tall grass areas nearby the pond where lots of mammals live.

2. Due to the large amount of rain this area has been getting lately there was some mud surrounding the pond, and large amounts of mosquitos all over the pond and park.

Many mosquitos surrounding the pond.
The main creature in the pond are frogs, and there are more of them then usual this year.

The water level was higher than usual today, due to the mass amount of rain the park received during the week.
