Birds present: Great Blue Herons, Mallard ducks, gulls. Snails. Human activity: fishing, boat launch. Shoreline slope is moderate, with reeds, shrubs and saplings. The riparian buffer is shrub-sapling. Further up and down river it is mostly deciduous.

Heavy boating activity at the time of sampling. Dead chicken found dumped on shore.

The water had a slightly cloudy appearance. There was rain in the last 24 hours. Lots of plant growth on the banks and in the water.
