Construction Runoff
Fairhope, Alabama, United States
New construction at corner of Pine Avenue and Section Street in downtown Fairhope with excessive red clay runoff after heavy rains. Though some bales and other protections are in place, they are apparently inadequate for the type of heavy sudden downpours we get here. There appeared to be some kind of pipe maybe beneath the construction which was causing clay filled storm water to bubble up to the surface before washing down the street and into the storm drains.
