Lots of ducks and ducklings nearby. Park was under construction for the first half of the summer, but seems to be done now. Sunny and warm. Water seems to be back around its natural shoreline (was higher earlier in the summer).
Very windy. ~20 ducks nearby, goose droppings widespread. Water level still high - normal shoreline probably ~20 cm underwater, ~50 cm from water's edge (bottom drops probably 40 cm or so down at that point). Sample collected in chest waders. Lots of waves. Overcast.
