Overcast and moderately windy. Choppy water. Past few weeks has seen well over 100MM rainfall and Lake is over it's banks, flooding some areas as happened a few years ago too. Some geese with their goslings around the site and seagulls too. Summer dock is closed off at the moment so tested at the permanent dock instead.

No rainfall in past 24 hours. Partly cloudy and very windy. Whitecaps on the open water beyond where there is still some thin ice around the harbour. Seagulls, ducks, geese and swans around the shore & on water & ice. Some garbage frozen into the ice along the dock. Took sample from end of the permanent dock where water was open, as summer dock isn't installed yet.

Sunny, cool day with moderate winds and lake is calm. Lots of seagulls and ducks around, and then a group of about 8 hawks came overhead searching for their next meal. No rainfall in past 24 hours.

Small amt of rain in past 24 hours.....less than 1 mm. Overcast/ partly sunny now with moderate winds. Lots of seagulls and cormorants on the water and rocks. Fishermen docking were interested in our testing and gave them a card to view site online & showed them our results today. They had caught a nice 3 lb walleye today and said overall a good summer for walleye fishing, many days coming home with their limits.

Some rain ( about 6 mm ) in past 24 hours. Overcast and moderately windy today. Few ducks on the lake. Spoke at length about Water Rangers with the leader of a group of people from Toronto who were just heading out on an excursion on their Sea-Doos east on the lake for a few days. Gave them a WR card to view the readings on the map and he was going to mention it to their member group of several thousand. Www.torontowpc.com Also spoke with a fisherman who lived locally and is trained in the area of fisheries and wildlife. He was also keen to learn more about Water Rangers as he lived on a river here , so gave him the info too.

About 3 mm rainfall in past 24 hours. Windy and partly cloudy now with choppy waves. Dock isn't installed yet where we test so did it nearby. Few ducks flying overhead. Young couple playing with their dogs retrieving sticks in the water next to me so talked with them about Water Rangers and gave them a card. He pulled up the site on his cell while we chatted & seemed quite interested in this .

Has been raining a bit overnight and still spitting now. Overcast and windy with choppy waves. Few seagulls and ducks floating out on the lake. The summer dock we have been using was being removed now for the winter so used an adjacent permanent dock for our measurements, which should be very similar to what we have been doing.

Minimal rainfall during past month or so. Hot & humid day with partly cloudy haze in the sky, Low winds and calm water. Ducks & swans swimming in the lake & seagulls in the air. Squirrels busy onshore. Some weed growth under the water surface but generaly clear. Man fishing on shore and I spoke at length with some fishermen heading out on the lake for bass. Had never been in this bay before and were very keen on what I was telling them about what we are doing with Water Rangers. They pulled up the site map on their cell phones while we chatted.
