However Riverfly sampling was quite lively

As a record, toe-boarding removal taking place on same day approximately 2km upstream in Whetstone Stray. So water disturbance and some discharge of creosote when removing posts which had been immersed in creosote long ago
Brook still running quite fast and higher than usual after the storm the previous day.
