View all photosThis site is just below an Outfall- photo included. Sewage fungus and foamy discharge, suggestive of misconnections. Long term issue that hasn't been addressed.
Out of interest took samples this morning
Ammonia 9.99 Flashing!
Phosphate 2.50 Flashing!
However Riverfly sampling was quite lively
Conductivity 1086
Temperature 11.2
As a record, toe-boarding removal taking place on same day approximately 2km upstream in Whetstone Stray. So water disturbance and some discharge of creosote when removing posts which had been immersed in creosote long ago
Brook still running quite fast and higher than usual after the storm the previous day.
