The river is wide open and the water level is high, but the access to the river is not safe. Therefore did not monitor this location. Foam is visible and is coming from roadside ditches. Water looks brown coloured at upstream before it meets with the water from the roadside ditch, but it looks green after it meets with the roadside ditch water at down stream.
The site is currently inaccessible for water monitoring due to deep snow accumulation. The river is completely frozen.
Have seen a chipmunk at the location. Overgrown vegetation is decaying. No leaves on trees. The water level is higher than usual. The pond on the other side of a culvert is frozen. Presence of wildlife. A wood log which is a benchmark at this location is completely covered in sand under the water.
The water level is higher than usual. Lots of natural debris in the water.
Follow the trail in the bush. Watch out for the branches striking out in the bush.
The overgrown vegetation on the path is dying. Iron oxidation is high here and some part of the river looks orange. The water level is lower than last week. Due to strong wind, lots of natural debris on the water surface.
Quite clear, greenish-brown waters at the bends
The pool of red algae might need to be looked at. Little Pool of rust-colored algae-like substance connecting to river. A few leaves on water.
It was clear in most spots, but cloudy in others.
The water is clearer than ever but the water level is lower. Overgrown vegetation is dying.
Overgrown vegetation on the way to reach the location. The whole path is slippery and the surface is uneven. Always wear boots to enter into the stream as the dominant substrate is sand. Evidence of wildlife presence.
