Aquatic life - tiny fish (approximately 1.5 inches in size). The oily film around the bank.

High vegetation, be careful.

Very steep, Spikes plants (thorn), wetted land because of rainfall. After getting back to the main road, there was metal scrap and something other in between the route. Mosquitos and unknow bugs and snails. There was a big wooden piece coated with green algae near the water.

Swarm of mosquitoes. Natural debris - decaying leaves & sticks at bottom. Oil like film on the surface around the edges of ditch. Mild odour but not sure what kind.

Possible groundwater seepage was observed beside the sampling source. The oil-like film was seen where this seeping water had collected. Litter nearby: a cardboard box. Live organisms: Insects floating on the surface.

Be careful on the slippery walk down the hill to the site. The sample site is down stream from a culvert but can not be accessed on other side without going on private property. Highest water level at this site since started monitoring.

Steep bank to access sampling site. water was higher than last week.

Be careful walking down riprap over concrete culvert, it is slippery. There was natural debris and iron buildup surrounding the concrete culvert.

Be careful accessing site, there is private property surrounding the access point. The hill is steep over the culvert so be careful, and try to avoid steep banks when wet. Very slippery.
