Root River

Path to river is slippery, snow covered path. The cliffs on right bank are eroding, water is high and fast moving, could not cross safely.

Not safe to access the site. This layer of ice on both edges of the river. We cannot see the bank.

Might be accessible next week. Beaver tracks and evidence of eating tree stumps, an area totally covered with ice on banks but can see clear water in the middle. Some woody debris left and right bank
