Root River

The water was low for a high rainfall within 24 hours. The water must move faster through the watershed than 24hrs. Will attempt to catch rainfall within 8 hours of next rainfall event. There were Northern clearwater crayfish(Faxonius propinquus) and juvenile sculpins(not sure of species) Lots of foam present that was making its way through the system potentially.
Long grass, be careful walking down the riprap, the rocks can be unstable and balance can easily be lost.

The water was very brown, cloudy and foamy. Could not see the bottom all across, and the cup of water was actually very brown. The water was not brown because of the substrate. It was turned over as well. Maybe Iron?

Slippery steep wall down to the creek. Be careful when pulling into the area beside the bridge. Be careful on the blind cover when pulling out.

No signs of fishing since the spring.

The water appear darker than normal as well as more foam than normal. Lots of plant growth and the same steep hill.

There are lots of large stones and a sloppy path so walk carefully.

Trash in the stream and the water is almost still.

Watch the rock - be careful.

Everything looks normal. More plants have grown on the bank.

Bubbles on top, not like foam, just on top of the water. The water level appears low otherwise looks the same as before.

The rip rap is slippery when wet. The foliage is growing and filling out.
