Fishy odour near the location.
Driftwood, birds, vegetation, fishing, lure, litter (boot), bird catching and eating a fish.

Easy access at the location. Watch out with bare tree branches as they could scratch.
Park/Recreation is also a pollution source in the immediate surroundings.
A community member broke an ampoule from too high, water did not activate the substance in the ampoule after 2 minutes, the dissolved oxygen was only 3 mg/L. Algae is along the shoreline and have not seen this much before at this location.

A dead bird observed near the location. Floating algae on the surface. Algae can be see in the underwater pictures, but it's not so much. The water level seems to be low as compared to normal.

Trail down to shoreline had broken branches, last observation had no indication of access to this area.
Ice on the water surface. Park/Recreation is the immediate pollution source in the surroundings. Why don't we measure the air temperature at the beginning?

To enter the site, walk through the snow-covered slope surrounded by bare trees. The slope can be slippery as it is covered in snow and it is melting. Do not walk on the snow-covered edges, because the water level is low and icy sheet can break and you can fall in to the river. Wear cloths according to the weather. People were walking their dogs in the park. Mallards were observed in the river closer to the monitoring location.

The river was flowing slow and calm under natural conditions, but the passage of large ships caused noticeable fluctuation in the water level, creating waves and temporary turbulence.
