The pond is near the neighborhood so it’s a two-lane entry/exit just east of Walkup Road. Extending up off 2nd street. Slow down when driving since there will be a sign saying “Oakwood Lodge”. It will show the arrows from going in and out.

View all photosThe area was icy every time I went there, but there was a bit of water and breakable, so not too bad to get the sample, as it was snowing!
There was so much wetland plants, plus the geese and ducks seemed that they were enjoying the pond too!
After it rained, I took this sampling toward the far corner and it seemed to have more chloride levels compared to the nearest area, around the 50s weather!
There was so much green stuff due to the rain? After the rain, it was around the 50s and I took sampling near the parking lot which showed least amounts of chloride.
When I arrived, there were already geese hanging out by the pond so, I sampled around the area where they were!
It seems like the higher the warmth, the more increase in chlorine levels. Probably due to the chlorine levels in this pond, the geese were swimming far from the chlorine content!
There was some green goop that resembled frog eggs! Also, the ice was breakable toward the edge of the pond.
The pond was icy, but not too icy since the ice broke easily.
So many ducks! There were a few people walking along the trails. It was a nice day out too!
