Fox River
Yorkville, Illinois, United States
After parking by Foxy's Ice Cream in Bicentennial Park, go to the walkway along the river. Walk west toward Route 47. Take the sample where the water meets the gravel beach. The water is very still in this area and it is close to the bridge. It is very easy to get the sample in this location. Must go during the day as there is no lighting along the river after dark.

View all photosThe river was very low which may account for the slight rise in chloride from the previous month. There appears to be a very slight difference in the results between the two test strips. However they were taken at the same time and did show the same results. I could not get a good photo that doesn’t show a slight difference in the results due to shadow.
