DesPlaines River

This location is on DesPlaines river at south east edge of DuPage county near Burr Ridge. Site is a boat ramp off Jeans Rd and nearest major cross street is 97th St and Madison St (1/4 mile north). It is adjacent to (or part of) "DuPage Riverways" which is owned by Forest Preserve District of DuPage county. DesPlaines river is at least 50 ft across at this point and this boat ramp is used for fishing and for put ins by local rowing clubs. The site seems safe but we'll see if ice gets in the way of retrieving water samples.
