Wood duck on the pond!
Tadpoles and painted turtles seen in the pond. Small garter snake on the edge of pond
Ice only present around the edges of the pond and in shady areas of the pond.
About 10-12 inches of snow since last monitoring session, and very cold temperatures recently. I had to break the ice open in a very muddy area, so the sample was muddier than normal.
Some ice, but not completely covering the pond.
No ice present
We had a light snow on 10/31/23, so some people may have salted already. Some algae on pond.
