Dairy farm 20 meters from Ottawa River. Suspicious culvet flowing from what looks like directly under the main barn that houses the herd. Wasted milk produced and bovine fecal matter suspected as sample smells like cow 🐮 💩.

Tested sample from culvert in lab for ammonia and Total Suspended Solids (TSS).
Used a Hach DR3900 spectrometer to analyze the sample using method 10031 (Nitrogen,Ammonia, Salicylate method) and TSS was analyzed using method 8006 (Photometric Method).
TSS: 138 mg/L
Ammonia: 1.9 mg/L
pH: six.8
