Very high Nitrates (and fairly high Phosphates)

Pretty grown over so hard to get sample. Both Nitrates and Phosphates high this month (despite lots of rain?)

No Phosphates but Nitrates very high.

The surface had more foam than usual and what looks like threadlike mats of brown algae. The phosphate reading also seems high (0.3) and nitrate (4). This could be due to having been intentionally dropping water levels in the new scrapes and barrowing in some shingle (so some ground disturbance).

Fewer pond plants than in the summer/autumn

There were a few pond plants near to the exit pipe and beneath the dam. A small amount of foam (bubbles) collected around the some of the pond plants.
