River Wey
Farnham, Surrey, United Kingdom
I think the springs arise in Farnham Park ( chalk hills?) and come together. This is south of the road with 6 bells pub, on footpath next to allotments. We are on the rather damaged bridge. wood anemones below. N of the road there is a new chanel dug to join this stream but this location N of the road is harder to access.

The chalk stream was not flowing. There was evidence of recent high flow (had been very heavy rain about 3 days before testing) in flattened grass and flattened vegetation on the edge of the water-line. The test was taken from a deep puddle about 15m to north of bridge where the usual testing is done.
There is no longer water running in this tributary, has the water been diverted, Sally need to explore north of here
This tributary is not running right now. I think it may have been diverted as there has been plenty of rain in the last 2 weeks
Stream was not flowing. Found a pool of water about 10 upstream from the usual testing bridge and did the test there.
