On location in Harbour Passage this morning at low tide. Had an opportunity to use new digital portable water equipment to record a more accurate pH as well as water conductivity. Did locate fish alongside the shoreline as well as multiple seagulls.

The weather in the Tin Can Beach area of uptown Saint John was partly cloudy this morning.

The clarity of the water was found to be pretty clear, rated as a 9 out of a possible 10-point scale. The weather was partly cloudy this morning in the uptown SJ area.

Water quality was noted to be cloudy and muddy. Only wildlife found was a family of seagulls as well as a dead bird carcass along the shoreline.

The clarity of the water was rated as a 3 on this day. In terms of bed composition, we estimated the % of land which is pebbles is 40% with the % to be of cobble composition to be roughly 60% in this area.
