Water sample taken from between bankside vegetation. Stream appeared silty-brown, possibly due to recent heavy rain
the brown algae is thick and coats the river weed, the fallen stick and the muddy ground of the river here.
Rive brown and cloudy weed coated in algae. Possibly fish. Riverbanks look natural and no rubbish
Sample taken very close to the bank edge where the water was very slow moving as could not reach further out. It is next to vegetation and so is in a bit of a backwater.
River lower than last time, can just see the bottom up to 70 cms from edge
colour of water is milky tea. this water taken from the bank below the bridge. Next to the new avenue of trees for the jubilee and next to car park and the Brightwells tennis courts. The A31 is about 60m away running paralell to the River
