grey green colour to river, slightly murkey - most likely silt as had rain in recent days.
Sample taken very close to river bank as not able to reach into flow. Sample in pot appeared quite clear

the brown algae is thick and coats the river weed, the fallen stick and the muddy ground of the river here.

Sample taken very close to the bank edge where the water was very slow moving as could not reach further out. It is next to vegetation and so is in a bit of a backwater.

colour of water is milky tea. this water taken from the bank below the bridge. Next to the new avenue of trees for the jubilee and next to car park and the Brightwells tennis courts. The A31 is about 60m away running paralell to the River
