View all photosLess sudsy, more ducks than last time. The river is glassy despite the outflow from the canal.
The water is a little sudsy. Mallards, kingfisher, fishermen. Something is whistling but I don’t know what I hear the kingfisher’s usual chrrr but I don’t know if they also whistle.
Ducks and geese, a human fisherman, normal outflow from the canal into the river. Had trouble taking the photo because but the reading was clear at 4.4

A few ducks and geese, more gulls. A little south of here, 4 red-breasted mergansers and 2 amorous downy woodpeckers, the usual grackles, red-winged blackbirds, sparrows. Two fishermen across the river. Large amount of water from the canal into the river.
Lots of water released from the canal, a lighter, greenish color. Fewer birds than usual: 2 red-breasted mergansers (a group of them a little farther south), mallards, gulls, 2 geese. The mallards are very tally.
