Sangamon River
Decatur, Illinois, United States
Located just south of Reas Bridge in Decatur, IL. This river feeds into Lake Decatur just to the south. Water is mostly calm and shallow here. No dangers observed, but shoreline is lined with medium-sized rocks. Gravel parking lot that is right along the water.

Construction on Reas Bridge. Sampling location fenced off for construction machinery. Took water sample and readings just outside of fenced off area.
Ice observed in small fragments along shoreline and rocks, but not extensive.
