Previously reported to Thames water numerous times and attended but one no sewerage blockage is found there is never any follow up action to fix the leaking inspection hatch
Water depth edited from 70m to 0.70m by admin
Clear in the main no odour slightly brown water / opaque at deeper part
Some surface living pond weed. Not much wildlife seen in the water but an abundance of surface flies and insects.
Silt from previous observation still present on river bed so whilst higher due to rain, still lower than 2022
Riverfly testing produced 1 x gammarus (dead), 1 x caddis. The river is extremely silted, it appears to have washed in and settled from further upstream. There was a golf ball and rotting bottle on the upstream side of bridge.
Riverfly test on stream flowing into Ock,clear. Herons, fish in adjacent pond kept by resident. Stream flows through woodland originally from Hascombe to the Ock at Bargate wood.
