The bottom here was covered in chara algae - thick mats of it

Plants: algae sp., chara algae, tapegrass, yellow water lilies, fragrant white water lilies, richardsons pondweed, bullrush, phragmites, purple loosestrife, spearmint, ferns, milkweed, sedge/rush, water nymph.

Birds: Bank swallows.

Fish: Fallfish, mimic shiner, yellow perch, longnose gar, largemouth bass, gluegill, spotfin shiner, bluntnose minnow, blackchin shiner, round goby.

Invasive species: Purple loosestrife, phragmites, round goby.
