About
We are a group of activists from all around Poland, who love rivers and water ecosystems and do our best to protect them. We clean up trash, plant trees along the banks, restore spawning grounds and work to remove barriers for fish migration. We keep watch over our rivers and intervene whenever something bad happens. We fight against water pollution. Our group includes anglers, scientists, nature protection proffessionals, IT specialists, artists, teachers, students, parents, grandparents, and many others with very diverse experience.
Water testing protocol
We are new to water monitoring, we will decide on the protocol soon. We will test basic parameters (pH, conductivity, dissolved oxygen, temperature) in all locations, and some specific parameters in specific locations. We will start with Upper Silesia, which is a source of high salinity (from mining), responsible for Prymnesium parvum blooms in 2022 and 2023.
