Cookham Ponds and Waterways survey

About

The WildCookham ponds and waterways project objective is to perform a level of surveying and data collection that allows us to identify where changes in management or environment could result in an improvement in the biodiversity and bioabundance found in selected ponds and waterways in Cookham. In practical terms this means that the work needs to be performed with a sufficient degree of scientific rigour to convince the advisers and management of the organisations that are responsible for the upkeep of the ponds and waterways to agree to the proposed changes and where necessary provide funding to make those changes. In the process of doing this we will attempt to increase awareness within the wider population of the importance of our ponds to our environment.
