About
The Lake Erie Guardians program will equip 50 Western Ontarians with the tools they need to protect and enhance local waterbodies. With our support, these “Guardians'' will come together in a physically distanced way in summer 2021 to collect hundreds of water quality tests, plant dozens of trees and shrubs, collect trash along shorelines, and renew their connections to nature! This project is made possible by the Government of Ontario's Great Lakes Local Action Fund.
Water testing protocol
Lake Erie Guardians use the Water Rangers testkits. Some testers use the full-sized freshwater explorer kit, while others use the compact freshwater explorer kit.
