About

This project, led by the River Wey Trust in collaboration with many local environmental groups in the catchment, seeks to get a baseline of our water quality. Thanks to funding by Godalming Council, we'll be collecting data on temperature, pH, alkalinity, hardness, phosphates, and nitrates.

Water testing protocol

Each participant will collect 1 sample at a designated spot in the Wey River Catchment. They will also have the opportunity to determine 1 other sample location to fill in gaps!
Using the modified Water Rangers Tinykit, they'll collect qualitative data, and quantitative data for temperature (air and water), pH, alkalinity, hardness, phosphates, and nitrates.
