About
The River Wey is a tributary of the River Thames in southeast England. Its two branches, one of which rises near Alton in Hampshire and the other in West Sussex to the south of Haslemere, the confluence is at Tilford in Surrey. Once combined the flow is eastwards, then northwards via Godalming and Guildford to meet the Thames at Weybridge.
This group are monitoring the upper reaches of the north branch - one of the rare chalk streams in the UK.
Water testing protocol
Using the Water Rangers testkit, plus phosphate and nitrate testing using API tests.
