Testing is done by the Pointe au Baril Islander's Association Marine Patrol.

Our mission is to unite our island and coastal communities, while preserving and protecting its unique natural environment for generations to come.

Pointe au Baril is located on the East coast of Georgian Bay; a large bay of Lake Huron. The area falls within the Laurentia bioregion and is a part of the Canadian Shield. The region hosts a mosaic of forest communites, ecologically sensitive wetlands, and is home to many species and species at risk.
