The Junction Creek Stewardship Committee is made up of environmental professionals, educators and concerned citizens who all collaborate with stakeholders to carry out environmental research, restoration, educational programs and community science projects.
Water testing protocol
In addition to monthly water sampling done at several sites along Junction Creek by the stewardship committee, new staff, placement students and volunteers have the opportunity to use the Water Rangers test kits to gain hands-on experience and contribute to a community science project. We follow the Water Rangers schedule by sampling with our test kits during the last weekend of the month from May to October.
