High Park Nature Centre's community-based water monitoring program monitors water quality in the park's ponds.
Water testing protocol
We use Water Rangers' Freshwater Explorer testkits to monitor the following parameters : Conductivity, water temperature pH, chlorine, alkalinity, hardness, dissolved oxygen, and clarity. In addition, we take qualitative observations.
