Nature’s NEAR (Neighbourhood Eco Action Rangers) is an outdoor and environmental program at that works with High School co-op students to develop environmental outdoor programs for elementary schools across the Halton District School Board. High School co-op students become environmental leaders and work to develop and lead exciting programs to elementary students. We are like a field trip that comes to you! Our aim is to connect students with the natural world and show them you don’t have to go far, Nature is NEAR! We are currently working on a water program and plan to incorporate the water rangers test kit!
Water testing protocol
Nature’s NEAR has the education kit which we will be bringing to elementary schools across Halton to use with younger students as part of our spring/summer water program. Organized by Natures NEAR Lead/Outdoor Education Facilitator, Rachel Irwin
