Notes
The water was more than cloudy almost opaque. There were fish present as I watched a large one jump for bugs. There were 6 ripples - it was big. There were many minnows visiting me as I was in the water. They liked my toes and the conductivity meter. There is a lot of cowsparnip in the path and by the river. This can be toxic to human skin and can cause irritation if it comes into contact with the skin. Four snails with broken shells, I did not step on.
The vegetation is overgrown and is covering the path. Be careful of stinging needles and wildlife in the forest. Make noise before approaching the river to ensure that wildlife in the area hears you.
