Yeading Walk : Yeading Brook

Medium Flow, warm outside temp 18oc
There has been a lot of rain recently, but not in the past few days so river levels are normal
Stream smells unpleasent.
There is a black coating on riverbed
Dead invertebrates found in all samples

Also caught:
20 midge larvae
6+ leech
8+ aquatic worms
9+Water Hog lice
blackfly larvae
1 v small fish fry (probably stickleback but too small and young to see any details)

Water chemical (ammonia and phospates) results to follow hopefully.....
