Big Carp River Herkimer Rd : Big Carp River

For the visibility measured by the secchi disk, the depth of visibility would not be any deeper if the water was. The water was noticeably murkier than the previous test completed Oct 31. As stated before, this is likely due to the recent rainfall. There was no health concerns with the site. At the site, 2 common mergansers (I believe) were seen swimming up the river. The water was murkier than the previous report, likely due to the rain stirring up the water and pushing in debris from the bank. Mustelidae tracks were seen at the site. No water uses seen in immediate area.
