Very spring like day. Water flow was normal. The sampling spot was fairly still, muddy and silty.
Water seems high, very muddy in the area. Lots of rain lately.
Very little snow left. Trail slushy in the shady areas.
Saw 1 male mallard duck and 1 red breasted nuthatch.

Water is frozen at the edges, but plenty to get a scoop of water. Started using a scooper to be able to reach further.
