Prinyer’s Cove on Lake Ontario

Ontario, Canada

Testing on the east side of the road at the culvert where the stream feeds under the road into Prinyer’s Cove. Marshy area with easy access along rocks and depth tested from end of the culvert. It’s on a corner of the road so be careful where you park to do any testing.

Robins, songbirds and dragonflies seen. 3 turtle nest protectors in place around here so someone nearby taking good care of the turtles when they see them laying their eggs in the gravel along the road.

Sunny, hot & humid with some clouds building over the lake and moderately windy. No rain in past 24 hours. Some songbirds can be heard but not seen. Few white moths and some flies around. Lots of lily pads and bullrushes here, and algae bloom as the water is very still and it’s a marshy end of the bay.
