Far too many aggressive geese - city needs to do something. Swam in another bay this morning which smelled better, was clearer - over on the Stewart Park side. Note: smell of gas and oil from the water plane was strong at its dock - yet there was NO plane. In the water smell as the pod swam by.

Geese are everywhere again and not moving away, regardless of how much banging or noise there is. Also, garbage on the beach, and on the grass. Sigh - lake still pretty, swimmable, but you sense there is tiredness

Quiet at beach; one duck; looks so abandoned

Air cooler than the lake; lake swimmable and more refreshing than it has been all week. Clarity still way off.

Earlier this week/ Wednesday morning we saw an otter bark away ducks and geese. Odds: 1:10 and the otter won! So we swam in the opposite direction

Swimmable this morning, mostly flat. SUP and kayakers are out on the water.
City needs to come and pick up garbage - so do people.
Goose doo doo everywhere where on cement block and near diving rock.
People are happy at this beach

The lake is swimmable - as in when you look at you would think, I want to swim here. Geese defecating everywhere. Also, city needs to do MORE garbage pick-up; citizens need to bring out what they bring in.

Mallard ducks, as well as gulls, mergansers in the bay

Happy summer: Beautiful swimmable day. Clear at beach. No smell of geese. City finally cut the grass this week. Saw 3 fish, one big dragonfly. Total chlorine was .2

This is a popular beach and it smelled of goose dump. Excrement everywhere: in the long grass, on sand, on rocky outcrops. The water looks clearer today than last Saturday and for our Tuesday night masters swim. Lake temp has dropped 4-6 degrees C since Tuesday (20C) depending on where you are on the lake today.

Grass in park is long. Geese poop everywhere again. Minimal garbage. sad to know the park isn't guarded or maintained much this summer. When are lifeguarding, water quality and park maintenance essential services?

Swam here this week. Lake temp is cold. Water looks dark/greeny again for the second year.
