Calm water surface on this sunny warm day, large black water spiders and water bugs swimming about. Minnows, smaller blue Dragonflies, chirping birds, chattering red squirrel and healthy shoreline foliage.

Calm water surface.
No motorized watercraft on the Ottawa River.
Observed a mature water snake hanging in a shrub in the sun then swimming alongside the island; approximately 2' in length.
Dragonflies flying around.
Local resident bird on the shoreline making a lot of noise.
Sea gulls flying down the Ottawa River.

The water surface is calm and clean in the bay.
Birds are chirping in the trees. Sea gulls are flying down the Ottawa River.
Wild flowers are in bloom on Boom Island. The rock cut of the Island is so attractive. An icon (anchor) from days gone by remains fixed on Boom Island

My first water test at Boom Island.
On three occasions a beaver slapped its tail on the surface.
Trees on the island have been chewed and toppled by beaver.
Red squirrel persistently chattered loudly.
Sea gulls flying down river.
