2 Canada geese swimming many flying overhead. American crow, Song sparrow and Red-winged blackbird heard.

Tide incoming 1/3 of the way in.

A couple of crows. The slough is a freshwater tidal marsh.

Tide 1/3 the way out. Water high, storm event two days ago increased the level of the Pitt River which the slough flows into.

Mallard, Canadian Geese, Northwestern Crow (Common), Bald Eagle.

Hardback, Reed Canary Grass, Black Cottonwood

The slough is a freshwater tidal marsh. Low tide.

Mallards, American Widegon, Bufflehead, both female and male. Immature Glaucous Gull. Hardhack and Reed Cannary Grass, Black Cottonwood.
