Ashley hollander a producer with action news jax emailed lisa rinaman that there was an algae bloom spotted near her house in the morning. she reported it to dep, but they did not have anywhere to submit photos.

Justina Dacey is currently investigating this issue.
Robert Storm Burks confirmed it is definitely a heavy surficial cyanobacteria bloom. He will look at some topo maps to see if it is connected to other water bodies in the area.
