Irrigation canal (used to be called Cemetery Canal. It is a tidal canal. I have pictures showing a significant algae bloom on December 12, 2016.

Noticed algae at my riverfront property in the morning of 12/12/16. went fishing in the afternoon and saw the algae in the canal and along the shore line. unusual for a bloom this time of the year. but the local fields are being cultivated and fertilized as some crops have recently been planted.
