Strong odor of gray water/ soap fragrance.
Water is cloudy although main stem of creek is observed to be clear.
Will discontinue depth measurements until an instrument can be obtained for accurate measurement. The stick we are using is not long enough. Depth always exceeds 1 metre.
Pool is high; unable to take depth measurement
Deleted pH reading (8.5) - this reading was obtained with pH meter which has since been determined to be incorrectly calibrated.
Water turbid and darkish all the way upstream
Some water discharging from pipe, visual evidence of an old paint spill. Paint remains on vegetation. Concerned that discharge will wash additional paint debris into the creek. Called issue into CNV after hours operation (was told must call back during office hours.)
Water cloudy with algal growth.
smell of sewage/phosphorous. Pipe discharging a moderate amount of water. Water looks cloudy.
Water high, flashy, silty. Large, fast volume of discharge from storm pipe. Suspect low conductivity reading due to volume of water.
water cloudy, strong chemical smell, film on water surface
Greyish particulates could be observed on water surface. Water was grey and cloudy and appeared to be contaminated. However, a fish (perhaps trout?) was observed swimming in the water!
