Sample taken from deep pool just upstream of footbridge. Water temp from EV meter 8.5. Light rain overnight and in morning. Heavy rain forecast for afternoon. Water has some suspended sediment.TDS 194ppm

Summer drought.
Cond meter water temp 17.7.
fallen log has started to scour a pool.
Algae and darkish slime on rocks in creek bed.
Increased erosion on south bank.

saw a stickleback in fish ladder pool today. Creek is well shaded, water is a nice temperature, fall in log in water is scouring a pool on the north side of the channel. Site of invasive bamboo removal. Native vegetation, reestablishing downstream of fish ladder. The bank just downstream of the foot bridge is badly eroded.

Water temperature with handheld conductivity metre is 8.4°C. Pipe is discharging wster from nearby rain garden.

Layer of sediment on cobble at fish ladder. Smell of sulphur or phosphates.

Ec is 235 at 15.9.
water temp in past was read from EC meter.
From now on water temp will be read from instant read digital.
Pond has sediment buildup and algae on top.

very low flows. wetted width about 50%. layer of sediment on cobble. Just taking water sample stirred up sediment in water column. No water discharging from pipe.

Pond is now cloudy with sediment visible in water column. Water downstream of fish ladder is clear. Slight smell of sulpher. No discharge from stormpipe from rain garden.
