About this Location
Echo Lake : InletSE end of Echo Lake near the inlet that goes to Mission Lske.
Blue- green algae, very thick mass- some light brown streaks. very smelly- some people remarked they could smell pea soup water in the town of fort quappelle less than a kilometre away ( as the crown flies). there were three (3) bands of the algae approximately 10-15 meters apart. i test about an additional 20-25 meters to the ne of where this algae was observed. i have to say i have seen blue- green, pea-soup algae on the lake before- but this stuff is different- more white foamy, cream swirls, heavy thick chunks of green/white mass. very stinky! i wouldn’t swim in this water!!!!
